Summary of the Position :This position is responsible to support the Program Director with assisting in the recruiting and certifying foster homes for hard to place youth. This position will also be assisting the referring authority with adoptions, case summaries and case research. That part of the job will entail filling out paperwork such as adoption court paperwork, gathering documents such as medical office notes/dental office notes/mental health evaluations and making face-to-face contacts when requested with the foster child and foster family to discuss case progress and/or to sign documents. You will also be researching the biological parents family history. This position will also be assisting the director with hiring and training new employees, providing supervision to staff, and communicating weekly performance to the Director. Also responsible to perform intakes, locate permanent resources for youth, coordinate client staffing to manage the delivery of client service hours to ensure maximum and appropriate levels of weekly services while managing compliance with all regulations.

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree generally preferred; commensurate experience in community-based agency program is acceptable except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree.

Position requires reliable transportation, valid drivers license and car insurance with bodily injury liability limits of $100,000/$300,000. This position requires background checks to be completed. Must be available to work some evening and weekend hours.
