Central Services/Housekeeping Manager Job Description Date Revised: 8/23/2019 Department: Central Services/Housekeeping Reports To: Central Services/Housekeeping Director

Position Summary: Assist Director with daily operations of Central Supply and Housekeeping. Essential Functions:

1.Assist director in managing staff and daily operations for central services and housekeeping / laundry.

2.Participates in and oversees replenishment of all supplies and equipment in all departments which includes maintaining proper inventory levels in the stock room.

3.Track and maintain all spread sheets for equipment and supplies in inventory and distributed to the units.

4.Participate in and oversee sterilization /operation of all equipment returned to central.

5.Assist in placing weekly orders through the Oncare system while maintaining budget constraints.

6.Receive and check in all incoming shipments against the PO to ensure for accuracy.

7.Assist and participates in all monthly/ annual inspections and submits reports to Director.

8.Collaborate and attend all department meetings and in services.

9.Follow all fire, safety and infection control guidelines.

10.Report all safety/repair issues to management as they arise.

11.Perform any and all other assignments requested by management.

Qualifications: Ability to speak, read, write English for job requirements.

HS diploma or GED equivalent.

Be proficient with computer programs such as Word, Excel, power point and experience managing multiple spread sheets.

Able to follow all written and oral instruction.

Ability to physically preform job duties.

Adhere to dress code.

Ability to work assigned hours which will include some holidays and occasional nights, weekends and emergency situations.

Physical Demands: The employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. and occasionally push up to 80lbs. The employee must also be able to climb stairs, step stools and ladders. The employee must also be able to bend, reach, turn, twist, handle, walk and feel use equipment to perform their job.
