Training & Engagement Coordinator

The Training & Engagement Coordinator is primarily responsible for facilitating the success of our LMS and virtually engaging with our community on a continuous basis in order to foster high levels of training completion and employee engagement; including: Running Shack-wide competitions, responding to emails/inquires/reset requests on the site, and reviewing and responding to posts from the team. They will also assist in the creation of Training Material for our Team Members, particularly as relates to company-wide rollouts of new products or processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitors daily user activity and contributions and quickly responds to user inquires, as well as celebrates milestones, and runs competitions to encourage log-ins. Provides weekly updates on what has changed on the site and upkeeps streams and pages throughout to ensure it is relevant and interesting.
  • Facilitates local administration of the site by our Management Teams by responding to email inquiries on how the site works, managing Team Members or MITs on a case-by-case basis, and creating Weekly Completion Reports to send to operations.
  • Assists in developing and implementing new training tools and materials through the creation of modules, as well as overhauling existing materials as the Shack changes standards and adds additional products.
  • Assists in New Leader Orientations as needed, including: updating material, creating LMS Courses to support and track completions, and setting up for the day as needed.
  • Standards Enforcement Continuously ensure our high standards are maintained and our Shake Shack Standard Guide is up to date and reflected in all available training material.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency in MS office Suite


  • 1+ year of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline or other authoring tools preferred
  • Experience with Video Editing tools such as Corel or Adobe preferred
