A family owned and operated quick service restaurant with both corporate and franchise locations is seeking qualified FOH Counter team members. We have been serving high quality Middle Eastern cuisine made from scratch using family recipes for over 45 years and have grown into a premier brand. Our goal is to serve exceptional food enhanced by a level of service and hospitality normally not associated with quick casual dining. The FOH Counter Staff is responsible for executing all job duties to the highest standard in the Front of the House as a member of the FOH team
FOH Counter Staff responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greeting guests and taking food and beverage orders Maintains friendly, helpful, positive attitude. Politely handles phone orders Placing guest orders into the POS system and ensuring accuracy of all orders taken Responsible for properly charging the guest and collecting payment for orders. Accountable for charging the correct amount for food and beverages Responsible for cash handling procedures Responsible for communicating effectively with managers, expeditor, and kitchen staff Assists expediter and floater with assembling dine-in orders Assists with the packaging of all take-out orders, including beverages and utensils Assists with the delivery of food and beverage to guests Assists other staff in their tasks when necessary Monitors dining room: buses and wipes tables as needed, re-set chairs, retrieve trays / baskets Monitors and services restrooms as needed Maintains pastry display, beverage refrigerator, juice dispensers, and restocks accordingly Assembling all dine-in orders, including beverages and utensils Packaging all take-out orders, including beverages and utensils Ensuring all orders are accurate and that they are complete with garnish, sides, beverages, and utensils Responsible for communicating effectively with cooks, manager, and service counter Maintains friendly, helpful, positive attitude Works as cashier when needed to expedite the line Works as counter person when needed to expedite the line Assists with the delivery of food and beverage to guests Assists other staff in their tasks when necessary Monitors dining room: buses and wipes tables as needed, re-set chairs, retrieve trays / baskets Monitors and services restrooms as needed Maintains pastry display, beverage refrigerator, juice dispensers, and restocks accordingly Cleans and stocks station as assigned throughout shift Maintains a clean and organized work space and service counter Cleans and stocks station as assigned throughout shift Maintains a clean and organized work space and service counter Responsible for all side work and cleaning duties Responsible for completing tasks on opening and closing checklists Carries out all other duties as assigned by management Cleans equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion Maintains a neat, clean, and friendly appearance; follows Mamoun's uniform and dress code requirements Completes shift work, as assigned, timely and thoroughly in accordance with standards
FOH Counter Staff Job Requirements: Requires 1-2 years of FOH experience Cash Handling experience Fast casual concept experience in a high-volume environment Familiar with hospitality-oriented restaurant experience Must be able to work as a team Ability to work day, nights, weekends, and holidays Food expediting experience Bilingual helpful If you have prior FOH experience and are hospitality-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, have a high attention to detail and excel in a fast-paced environment and are interested in joining our family please e-mail us your resume.
