The facility is located in the borough of Jessup, Pennsylvania (near Scranton, PA).Position OverviewAs the O&M Planner Coordinator, you will report to the Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for the planning and coordination of safe and reliable operational and maintenance activities at Lackawanna Energy Center. The planner coordinator is responsible for improving the work force productivity and work quality by eliminating in advance potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of labor, parts and material. This position includes planning, creating, reviewing work packages, ordering parts, coordinating activities and maintaining warehouse inventory.Responsibilities* Develop work plans, ensuring readiness and accurate job estimates.* Work with contractors to set up operational and maintenance services.* Work with plant management to keep work orders and PM's up to date.* Identify, order and track parts for preventive and corrective maintenance, and interact with suppliers/contractors to ensure the correct parts are ordered and shipped in a timely manner* Maintain the warehouse inventory, minimizing both overstock and out of stock occurrences, ensures parts are checked out of the warehouse properly, and assists with quarterly inventory checks* Perform general housekeeping and continuous improvement of the appearance of the warehouse. Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and receiving areas, or other duties as assigned.* Read, understand and comply with all regulatory procedures and facility safety programs. Follow all plant environmental permits.* Participate in routine corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and equipment and system improvements.* Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, forklifts, and manual lift carts.* Fully support the use of the facility's computerized maintenance management system by displaying a proficiency in using the system. Thoroughly record inventory and purchase orders through the facilities CMMS (EAM). Handle corrective and preventative maintenance work orders in a timely and high-quality manner.* k orders in a timely and high quality manner.* Other duties as assigned.Qualifications* Experience with maintenance planning.* Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management Software (EAM preferred).* Experience with warehousing and shipping/receiving.* Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Oracle.* Strong interpersonal skills.* Excellent communication skills both written and oral.* Highly organized and detail oriented.* Must bring a positive attitude (can do and what can I do to help) to the position.* A commitment to safety, health and environment protection.* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and in a team environment.* Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives and projects in parallel.* Ability to adapt quickly and positively to a changing environment.* Demonstrated ability to utilize basic hand and power tools.Required Skills* This is a safety sensitive role which requires compliance with the company's medical and drug and alcohol policy.* Work overtime and irregular hours as needed to support reliable operation of the facility.
