Huertas is an independent and ambitous restaurant in the East Village. Inspired by dining in Northern Spain, we strive to create a fun, party-like atmosphere for guests, while at the same time providing warm and professional service. We are a NY Times 2-star restaurant.
We are searching for someone looking to take the next step in their career; someone hungry to take on more responsibility in an entreprenuerial environment. We've been open for more than 5-years and have created systems that work well, but are always looking for leaders who want to drive the restaurant forward -- using both past experience and thinking outside the box. We are a mid-sized (75 seat) restaurant and tackle as much as we can in-house, so the role is incredibly dynamic. You must be creative, resourseful, energetic, enthusiastic, organized, commanding and compassionate.
You will report directly to Chef-Owner Jonah Miller (Forbes 30u30, Zagat 30u30, James Beard Semi-Finalist) with the chance to learn about running a business one-on-one.
We are hoping to find a candidate who can begin sometime between now and December.
