The primary purpose of this position is to build, develop, grow and drive profitability and performance within the Food Service Channel through the development of new products, concepts, strategies and customers around the LATAM region. Position is responsible for providing the full range of leadership accountabilities to the people and brands. Provides strategic direction and execution of all aspects of the Food Service Channel to include full profit and loss, revenue and market share targets.
Provides strategic leadership to the Food Service Channel.
Manages the Divisions overall sales volume and item production forecasting process. Provides management with appropriate recommendations for the development and alternations of sales plans and business building opportunities based upon market activities. Programs and new items encompass concept & product design, branding implementation, trend research and dessert landscape development.
Hersheys portfolio definition and pricing strategy set up per market / customer.
Provides people leadership within the Food Service Channel.
Works directly with other departments such as marketing and supply chain to ensure effective planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and communicating programs. Establishes and communicates priorities within the team and for the Food Service division.
Leverage with US Food Service team for regional / customer programs.
Supervise the execution of sales programs within the Food Service Channel.
Execute the FS initiatives and make adjustments as necessary to deliver results and provide sales updates to business partners field operations group. Gets their feedback and report on competitive activity, account changes, promotions, while performing all administrative functions & training within assigned accounts (ie Account customer records on promotional history/results, funds use status, etc).
Builds strategic relationships within the Food Service Channel.
Builds senior management level relationships at key customers Provides leadership to support retailers and build FS distributors network for the region.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
This position requires a valid drivers license, the ability to work across the organization, advisory/consultant oriented, and 35% travel time.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Bachelors Degree. Master (ideally). Fluent in English & Spanish
Experience: Proven proficiency as a Hershey Team associate, Customer Sales Executive for culinary products or food service channels experience. Experience recommending and leading strategic and tactical decisions. 5+ years related work experience
Passionate to work with food design: ingredient application, menu development, tasting, ideation sessions with chefs / customers and culinary experts. Multicultural experience ideally.
