The Job: Logistics Coordinator Purpose The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of all major equipment including piles, racking, inverters, and solar panels for our utility scale solar park and substation, located near Clarksville, Virginia. Location/Department Chase City/Clarksville, VA or nearby preferred Status Non-Exempt - Hourly Essential Job Functions
Provide coordination and communication necessary to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of materials to the site.
Coordinate the delivery plan between the Suppliers and the installation contractors to maintain an efficient and consistent delivery of materials.
Coordinate the timely unloading and inventorying of materials with the Installation Contractors.
Manage, document, track, and report damaged deliveries and coordinate their replacement.
Prepare Daily and Weekly Reports.
Renewable Energy experience preferred.
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.
Proficient with MS Office including Word and Excel.
Takes a collaborative approach to getting the work done.
Physical ability to conduct regular site walks.
Essential Physical Abilities
Ability to meet highest attendance requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
Could involve some lifting.
Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 1 year related experience, preferably in a logistics role
