This position is a Flexible (Flex) position. You may be regularly scheduled or scheduled on an as needed basis, but there are no guaranteed hours. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits.
As a Cook, the incumbents is responsible for:Preparing and cooking a variety of foods and desserts according to menu requirements. Following health and safety precautions to ensure safe preparation and storage of food items. Monitoring and maintaining appropriate temperature of all food items throughout preparation and service. Operating kitchen equipment designed to mix and cook food items. Using cleaning and maintaining power kitchen equipment Keeping working area clean in accordance with standard sanitation requirements.
